- The computer picks a sequence of colors (the “code”). The default code length is 4, but you can change it before starting a new game. - The goal is to guess the exact positions of the colors in the code. - By default, each color can only be used once. If “Allow duplicates” is enabled when starting a new game, any color may appear multiple times. - After you fill a line with your guesses and click the Check button, the computer responds with the result:
- You win when all colors in the code are correctly placed. You lose if you run out of attempts without guessing the code. How to Play This Game
- Click Start New Game. To customize settings, change the Code length or Allow duplicates option before starting. - To place colors in your guess, first click a color at the bottom, then click a slot in the guess row. - To switch to a different color, either click on a new color from the palette or scroll the mouse wheel. - You can rearrange your guess before clicking Check. When satisfied, click Check to see the computer’s response. - Good Luck! |
