How to play Pyramid Solitaire
- The 52-card deck deals 28 face-up cards into seven fixed pyramid rows and 24 face-down cards into Stock.
- A card is exposed when both cards covering it are gone. Present cards in the bottom row are exposed. Removed positions remain empty.
- Remove two exposed pyramid cards totaling 13, or one exposed pyramid card with the top Waste card. Ace is 1, Jack 11, Queen 12 and King 13. Remove an exposed King individually.
- Draw one card from Stock onto Waste. Only the top Waste card is playable; buried Waste cards and Stock cards cannot be paired directly. Two Waste cards cannot pair.
- There are three total stock passes: the initial pass and two recycles. When Stock is empty, recycle only the surviving Waste cards, preserving their next draw order. No fourth pass is available.
- Win by clearing all 28 pyramid cards. Remaining Stock and Waste cards do not prevent victory. Random deals are not guaranteed to be solvable.
- Moves and active-play Time replace a numerical score. Undo restores a previous position without rewinding Time. Restart Deal restores this exact deal; New Game navigates to a fresh deal. Completed games cannot be undone.
